The Epistle of Polycarp to the Philippians

Greeting

Polycarp and the presbyters that are with him unto the Church of God which sojourneth at Philippi;mercy unto you and peace from God Almighty and Jesus Christ our Savior be multiplied.

Chapter 1: Praise of the Philippian Church

I rejoiced with you greatly in our Lord Jesus Christ, for that ye received the followers of the true Love and escorted them on their way, as befitted you—those men encircled in saintly bonds which are the diadems of them that be truly chosen of God and our Lord; and that the steadfast root of your faith which was famed from primitive times abideth until now and beareth fruit unto our Lord Jesus Christ, who endured to face even death for our sins, whom God raised, having loosed the pangs of Hades; on whom, though ye saw Him not, ye believe with joy unutterable and full of glory, into which joy many desire to enter, knowing that by grace ye are saved, not of works, but by the will of God through Jesus Christ.

Chapter 2: An Exhortation to Virtue

Wherefore gird up your loins and serve God in fear and truth, forsaking the vain and empty talking and the error of the many, for that ye have believed on Him that raised our Lord Jesus Christ from the dead and gave unto Him glory and a throne on His right hand; unto whom all things were made subject that are in heaven and that are on the earth; to whom every creature that hath breath doeth service; who cometh as judge of quick and dead; whose blood God will require of them that believe not in Him.

Now He that raised Him from the dead will raise us also, if we do His will and walk in His commandments and love the things which He loved, abstaining from all unrighteousness, covetousness, love of money, evil speaking, false witness; not rendering evil for evil or railing for railing or blow for blow or cursing for cursing; but remembering the words which the Lord spake, as He taught: Judge not that ye be not judged; forgive, and it shall be forgiven unto you; have mercy that ye may receive mercy; with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.

Chapter 3: Polycarp’s Personal Humility & Mention of Paul

These things, brethren, I write unto you concerning righteousness, not because I took it upon myself, but because ye invited me. For neither am I, nor is any other such as I, able to come up to the wisdom of the blessed and glorious Paul, who when he was among you in the presence of the men of that time taught accurately and steadfastly the word of truth;and when he was absent wrote a letter unto you, into the which if ye look diligently, ye shall be able to be builded up unto the faith given to you, which is the mother of us all, while hope followeth after and love goeth before—love toward God and Christ and toward our neighbor. For if any man be occupied with these, he hath fulfilled the commandment of righteousness; for he that hath love is far from all sin.

Chapter 4: Duties of Families, Husbands, Wives, and Widows

But the love of money is the beginning of all troubles. Knowing therefore that we brought nothing into the world, neither can we carry anything out, let us arm ourselves with the armor of righteousness, and let us teach ourselves first to walk in the commandment of the Lord; and then our wives also, to walk in the faith that hath been given unto them and in love and purity, cherishing their own husbands in all truth and loving all men equally in all chastity, and to train their children in the training of the fear of God.

Our widows must be sober-minded as touching the faith of the Lord, making intercession without ceasing for all men, being far from all calumny, evil speaking, false witness, love of money, and every evil; knowing that they are God’s altar, and that all sacrifices are inspected, and that nothing escapeth Him, whether of thoughts or intents or any of the secret things of the heart.

Chapter 5: Duties of Deacons and Young Men

Knowing then that God is not mocked, we ought to walk worthily of His commandment and His glory. In like manner deacons should be blameless in the presence of His righteousness, as ministers of God and Christ and not of men; not calumniators, not double-tongued, not lovers of money, temperate in all things, compassionate, diligent, walking according to the truth of the Lord, who became a minister (servant) of all.If we be well pleasing unto Him in this present world, we shall receive the future world also, according as He promised us to raise us from the dead.

In like manner also the younger men must be blameless in all things, caring for purity before everything and curbing themselves from every evil. For it is a good thing to refrain from lusts in the world, for every lust warreth against the Spirit, and neither whoremongers nor effeminate nor abusers of themselves with mankind shall inherit the kingdom of God, nor they that do inappropriate things.Wherefore it is needful to abstain from all these things, being subject to the presbyters and deacons as unto God and Christ.

Chapter 6: Duties of Presbyters (Elders)

And the presbyters also must be compassionate, merciful towards all men, turning back the sheep that are gone astray, visiting all the infirm, not neglecting a widow or an orphan or a poor man: but providing always for that which is honorable in the sight of God and of men, abstaining from all anger, respect of persons, unrighteous judgment, being far from all love of money, not quick to believe anything against any man, not hasty in judgment, knowing that we all are debtors of sin.

If then we entreat the Lord that He will forgive us, we also ought to forgive; for we are before the eyes of our Lord and God, and we must all stand before the judgment seat of Christ, and each one must give an account of himself.

Chapter 7: Countering Heresy and Docetism

For every one who shall not confess that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh, is antichrist; and whosoever shall not confess the testimony of the Cross, is of the devil; and whosoever shall pervert the oracles of the Lord to his own lusts and say that there is neither a resurrection nor a judgment, he is the first-born of Satan.

Wherefore let us forsake the vain doing of the many and their false teachings, and turn unto the word which was delivered unto us from the beginning, watching unto prayer and persevering in fasting, beseeching the all-seeing God with supplications that He lead us not into temptation, according as the Lord said: The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.

Chapter 8: Perseverance in Hope through Christ

Let us therefore without ceasing hold fast by our hope and by the earnest of our righteousness, which is Jesus Christ, who took up our sins in His own body upon the tree, who did no sin, neither was guile found in His mouth, but for our sakes, that we might live in Him, He endured all things. Let us therefore become imitators of His endurance; and if we suffer for His name’s sake, let us glorify Him. For this example He set us in His own person, and this we believed.

Chapter 9: Exhortation to Endurance and Remembrance of Martyrs

I exhort you all therefore to yield obedience to the word of righteousness and to exercise all patience, such as ye saw before your eyes, not only in the blessed Ignatius and Zosimus and Rufus, but also in others among yourselves, and in Paul himself and the rest of the Apostles; being persuaded that all these ran not in vain, but in faith and righteousness, and that they are in their due place in the presence of the Lord, with whom also they suffered. For they loved not this present world, but Him that died for our sakes and was raised by God for us.

Chapter 10: General Exhortations to Good Works

Stand fast therefore in these things and follow the example of the Lord, firm and unchangeable in the faith, lovers of the brotherhood, loving one another, joined together in the truth, exhibiting the meekness of the Lord in your intercourse one with another, despising no man. When ye are able to do good, defer it not, for almsgiving delivereth from death. Be ye all subject one to another, having your conversation unblamable among the Gentiles, that your good works both ye may receive praise and the Lord may not be blasphemed in you.

Chapter 11: Grief over Valens (Exhortation Regarding Covetousness)

I was deeply grieved for Valens, who was once a presbyter among you, because he so little understandeth the place that was given unto him. I admonish you therefore that ye abstain from covetousness, and that ye be pure and truthful. Abstain from all evil. For how shall a man teach another if he cannot govern himself in these things? If a man abstain not from covetousness, he shall be defiled by idolatry and shall be judged as one of the Gentiles who know not the judgment of the Lord.

Chapter 12: Concluding Prayer and Counsel

For I am persuaded that ye are well trained in the sacred scriptures, and that nothing is hidden from you. Only for me it is not granted. But as it is said in these scriptures: Be ye angry and sin not, and Let not the sun go down upon your wrath. Blessed is he that remembereth this; and I trust it is so with you.

Now may the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the eternal High Priest Himself, the Son of God, Jesus Christ, build you up in faith and truth, and in all meekness, gentleness, patience, longsuffering, forbearance, and purity; and may He give you a lot and portion among His saints, and to us with you, and to all under heaven who shall believe in our Lord Jesus Christ and in His Father who raised Him from the dead. Pray for all the saints. Pray also for kings and powers and princes, and for them that persecute and hate you, and for the enemies of the Cross, that your fruit may be manifest among all men, that ye may be perfect in Him.

Chapter 13: Concerning the Letters of Ignatius

Ye wrote to me, both ye yourselves and Ignatius, that if any one goeth to Syria he should carry your letters also; which request I will fulfill if I find a fitting opportunity, whether I go myself or send an ambassador to act for you.The letters of Ignatius which were sent to us by him, and as many others as we had by us, we have sent to you, according as ye requested. They are subjoined to this letter; from which ye will be able to receive great benefit; for they comprehend faith and endurance and all the edification which pertaineth unto our Lord. And concerning Ignatius himself and those who are with him, if ye have any certain news, make it known unto us.

Chapter 14: Final Greeting

These things I have written unto you by Crescens, whom I have hitherto commended unto you and now commend again. For he hath walked unblamably among us, and I believe in like manner among you. His sister also shall be commended unto you when she cometh to you. Fare ye well in the Lord Jesus Christ in grace, with all yours. Amen.

America is Born Again

Ladies and Gentlemen, start your engines! When you see a White House message like this, consider it a signal, not just a meme.

The drum beat has been building, the restoration completed and the plans mostly laid-out for all to see. Wait though… what makes a really good party? How about… a really big surprise, or two, or three. Heck why just have a handful? May as well make it a fiesta.

Just 5 days away from July 4th and already the feeling is electric on the socials, everybody knows the climax of the story is upon us. Will the “Save America Act” save us, or will a national emergency be necessary? The battle-lines are drawn and the blue team are not backing down… NO VOTER ID.

Meanwhile, just like a good magic trick the right hand is busy while we were watching the left. World Cup of soccer has run amok in a good way, in that people from all over the world are saying how great the games are and how fun it is to be in USA.

The greatest spectacle is about to take place, as the finals are set for conclusion on July 19th when the whole world will be watching the game play out in Rutherford, New Jersey, directly across the river from New York City.

For all the surprises that lay ahead, allow me to express my wish for the two best birthday presents that President Trump could ever bestow on “we the people“; honest elections and real, genuine Treasury issued, asset-backed money.

End the Fed and Save Democracy with Honest Elections. This is what Donald Trump will be remembered for in the decades to come. In ten years people will have forgotten how close we came to losing this bright shining light called America.

Metanoia a Metamorphis Me

I am transformed by the understanding of what has been lost in translation.

Following are the two ideas that forever changed the way I was thinking about the Kingdom of Heaven (is within me).

Two years ago I would sleep until 9 or 10 if I could, to avoid having to face the world. Not that I was depressed or blue when I did get up and start fighting once again. I was a digital soldier in constant combat during every waking hour, firing words of peace and love into the morass of depravity online. My mission is/was to tell the truth, to the best of my ability, that the devil and his angels (yes, there are bad angels) had overcome Archangel Michael and they had come to the ground.

Every day during the great war in heaven, I stayed awake late sipping on my liquor and smoking my ganja (now legal in Canada). “Rations” is a war word, I borrow here, to say that my rationale was, that “dumbing-down” was acceptable to counter the retarded ideology of the libtard left, which at that time were in control of the world.

I know now that I was wrong then, to use alcohol as a crutch, when it should only ever be used, to celebrate the Holy Spirit.

The two key ideas, to set me free of my own slavery of dependence (because eventually the crutch becomes an addiction). Every day I couldn’t wait for 5 O’clock and often didn’t. Until I learned what I am about to share with you.

Closet is inside Your Skull not in a Building

The operating instructions for the pineal-modem, that is connected to the universe frequency, is contained in the “Lord’s Prayer” and also in every religious, esoteric and ancient schools of wisdom, to describe your Pineal gland. Now that we are connected, here’s the secret key that unlocks the power

Repent is a transliteration of Metanoia, since Jesus of Nazareth spoke Aramaic but was quoted in Greek and when translated to Latin the meaning was lost. Why this is important, is that Metanoia is the very word that opens his Ministry. Most people are thinking that repentance (root word penitence) is all about admitting to sin, shame and guilt. In fact what he was saying, is best described as follows;

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Once these two practices are undertaken, consistently and with determination, the results will completely astound you.

Signs in the Sun, and in the Moon, and in the Stars

God Wins! Was my favourite poster because it depicts the celestial events that happened within 7 years of September 23rd 2017, the Great Sign in the Sky from Revelation 12. The artist that created this magnificent series of digital art, wholeheartedly believes in a Biblical timeline.

The US Debt Clock is promoting Miracles and a Golden Era. A New Money Revolution is taking place and we are witness to it. The planners, designers and artists that have created the Artwork, for telling the story of the greatest Ponzi scheme in history, have been depicting the truth by drawing sophisticated cartoons.

The truth is that in 1913 America was captured by bankers. Rather embarrassing actually, if you think about it. It wasn’t until about 100 years after the crime, that some citizens realized what had happened. Then the Internet came and more people learned the truth, plus Internal Revenue Service was exposed as unconstitutional. Tax rebellion was born and starting growing.

Freedom of Speech was saved when Elon Musk bought Twitter and shortly after that turned it to X. In February of 2024 US Debt Clock launched an account on X and began posting the eye catching art pieces. Intrigue increased when the infamous website IngersollLockwood.com a recruiter for US Space Force, started linking to the US Debt Clock and the followers started the buzz that went across the web.

Signs in the Sky is the motif the artist “Thomas X” has embedded in the story-line the images have been depicting. A mixture of History, almost always a Biblical scripture and time and time again, the signs in the sun, moon and stars.

Transition from a debt-backed dollar to an asset-backed dollar, is the clearest explanation of the entire series of posters. The US Debt Clock is providing an important service.

The seven-year window between the August 21, 2017, eclipse and the April 8, 2024, eclipse is considered by many watchers of celestial signs to be a highly significant “biblical” timeframe.

During these seven years, several major astronomical events occurred that many link to the “signs in the sun, moon, and stars” mentioned in Luke 21:25.

1. The “X Marks the Spot” Solar Eclipses

The most discussed events are the two total solar eclipses that bookend this seven-year period.

August 21, 2017: The “Great American Eclipse” travelled from Oregon to South Carolina.
April 8, 2024: Another total solar eclipse travelled from Texas to Maine.
The Intersection: The paths of these two eclipses intersect over Southern Illinois, specifically near an area called Little Egypt. For those following prophecy, this “X” over the United States is seen as a significant warning or marker.
The “Ring of Fire”: On October 14, 2023, an annular solar eclipse also crossed the U.S., creating a third path that intersected the others, further fueling the “signs” discussion.

2. Blood Moons and Lunar Tetrads

While the famous “Blood Moon Tetrad” occurred in 2014–2015, the 2017–2024 window saw several standalone “Super Blood Moons” (total lunar eclipses):

January 31, 2018: A “Super Blue Blood Moon”—a rare combination of a total eclipse, a blue moon, and a supermoon.

The Shofar Blast of Your Life

On this eve to end the Jubilee year, I am rededicating my life to JAH. This post is my virtual shofar blast, to let God know that I am ready. Please let the slaves free and settle all debts, or lead us (we the people) forward to destroy evil.

Time has come to make a last stand for truth, peace and love.

What does the Shofar symbolize?

The Shofar is commanded in the Torah (Numbers 29:1). It has two principal, seemingly contradictory, purposes — as a call to war (Numbers 10:1-10) and as a proclamation of freedom (Leviticus 25:9).

What is the purpose of Shofar blowing?

Maimonides wrote that even though the blowing of the Shofar is a Biblical statute, it is also a symbolic “wake-up call”, stirring believers to mend their ways and repent: “Sleepers, wake up from your slumber! Examine your ways and repent and remember your Creator.”

What does the horn represent in the Bible?

The raised horn is a common biblical symbol of victory, especially of being rescued from oppression. ), and when God “exalts the horn” of someone, he is bringing victory to the oppressed. )—to “exalt the horn” of his anointed one, the Messiah.

What is the Day of Atonement in modern times and why does it matter now?

Yom Kippur—the Day of Atonement—is considered the most important holiday in the Jewish faith. Falling in the month of Tishrei (September or October in the Gregorian calendar), it marks the culmination of the 10 Days of Awe, a period of introspection and repentance that follows Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year.

In Leviticus 16:29-30, God declares that atonement is a statute forever. So blow your shofar, if you have one but most importantly; give praise and celebrate God in your life. A jubilee is a special year of remission of sins, debts and universal pardon.

In Leviticus, a jubilee year is mentioned to occur every 50th year; during which slaves and prisoners would be freed, debts would be forgiven and the mercies of God would be particularly manifest.

Be ye of good faith, pick a lane and prepare for judgment! Heed thy warning, “this is Biblical” was NOT a slogan, or fake news propaganda. You are now officially on the Shofar blast, “we are at war against evil”… choose God, or perish.

Trump Tango is about winning hearts and minds

What if Trump always knew that 2020 would be stolen? What if the plan was to surrender the dance floor to the Deep State? The Revelation Explanation Chain Letter

Regardless if you believe in God or not, read this message and pass it on. This is a chain letter, please don’t break the Revelation Explanation Chain Letter.

Throughout history, we can see how we have been strategically conditioned coming to this point where we are on the verge of a cashless society. Did you know that the Bible foretold of this event almost 2,000 years ago?

In Revelation 13:16-18, we read,

“He (the false prophet who deceives many by his miracles–Revelation 19:20) causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number is 666.”

Referring to the last generation, this could only be speaking of a cashless society. Why’s that? Revelation 13:17 says that we cannot buy or sell unless we receive the mark of the beast. If physical money was still in use, we could buy or sell with one another without receiving the mark. This would contradict scripture that states we need the mark to buy or sell!

These verses could not be referring to something purely spiritual as scripture references two physical locations (our right hand or forehead) stating the mark will be on one “OR” the other. If this mark was purely spiritual, it would indicate both places, or one–not one OR the other!

This is where it really starts to come together. It is amazing how accurate the Bible is concerning the implantable RFID microchip. Here is information from someone named Carl Sanders who worked with a team of engineers to help develop this RFID chip:

“Carl Sanders sat in seventeen New World Order meetings with heads-of-state officials such as Henry Kissinger and Bob Gates of the C.I.A. to discuss plans on how to bring about this one-world system. The government commissioned Carl Sanders to design a microchip for identifying and controlling the peoples of the world—a microchip that could be inserted under the skin with a hypodermic needle (a quick, convenient method that would be gradually accepted by society).

Carl Sanders, with a team of engineers behind him, with U.S. grant monies supplied by tax dollars, took on this project and designed a microchip that is powered by a lithium battery, rechargeable through the temperature changes in our skin. Without the knowledge of the Bible (Brother Sanders was not a Christian at the time), these engineers spent one-and-a-half-million dollars doing research on the best and most convenient place to have the microchip inserted.

Guess what? These researchers found that the forehead and the back of the hand (the two places the Bible says the mark will go) are not just the most convenient places, but are also the only viable places for rapid, consistent temperature changes in the skin to recharge the lithium battery. The microchip is approximately seven millimeters in length, .75 millimeters in diameter, about the size of a grain of rice. It is capable of storing pages upon pages of information about you. All your general history, work history, criminal record, health history, and financial data can be stored on this chip.

Brother Sanders believes that this microchip, which he regretfully helped design, is the “mark” spoken about in Revelation 13:16–18. The original Greek word for “mark” is “charagma,” which means a “scratch or etching.” It is also interesting to note that the number 666 is actually a word in the original Greek. The word is “chi xi stigma,” with the last part, “stigma,” also meaning “to stick or prick.” Carl believes this is referring to a hypodermic needle when they poke into the skin to inject the microchip.”

Mr. Sanders asked a doctor what would happen if the lithium contained within the RFID microchip leaked into the body. The doctor replied by saying a terrible sore would appear in that location. This is what the book of Revelation says:

“And the first (angel) went, and poured out his vial on the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore on the men which had the mark of the beast, and on them which worshipped his image” (Revelation 16:2).

The third angel’s warning in Revelation 14:9-11 states,

“Then a third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, ‘If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark on his forehead or on his hand, he himself shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out full strength into the cup of His indignation. He shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever; and they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name.’”

Great hope is in our midst, and is coming in a mighty way–the greatest revival for Jesus in the history of the world where we will see the most souls come to Him of all tribes, tongues, nations, and peoples (Rev. 7:9-10); for we have this promise in God’s Word in the midst of these dark times:

“Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, having the key to the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. He laid hold of the dragon, that serpent of old, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years (not literal–rather a spiritual label for time spent in eternity); and he cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal on him, so that he should deceive the nations no more till the thousand years were finished. But after these things he must be released for a little while (when the Antichrist and false prophet will rise up and God will test the world).” (Revelation 20:1-3)

“The coming of the lawless one (the Antichrist) is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.” (2 Thessalonians 2:9-12)”

So what’s in the name? The meaning of someone’s name can say a lot about a person. God throughout history has given names to people that have a specific meaning tied to their lives. How about the name Barack Obama? Let us take a look at what may be hiding beneath the surface.

Jesus states in Luke 10:18, “…I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven.”

The Hebrew Strongs word (H1299) for “lightning”: “bârâq” (baw-rawk)

In Isaiah chapter 14, verse 14, we read about Lucifer (Satan) saying in his heart:

“I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will be like the Most High.”

In the verses in Isaiah that refer directly to Lucifer, several times it mentions him falling from the heights or the heavens. The Hebrew word for the heights or heavens used here is Hebrew Strongs 1116: “bamah”–Pronounced (bam-maw’)

In Hebrew, the letter “Waw” or “Vav” is often transliterated as a “U” or “O,” and it is primarily used as a conjunction to join concepts together. So to join in Hebrew poetry the concept of lightning (Baraq) and a high place like heaven or the heights of heaven (Bam-Maw), the letter “U” or “O” would be used. So, Baraq “O” Bam-Maw or Baraq “U” Bam-Maw in Hebrew poetry similar to the style written in Isaiah, would translate literally to “Lightning from the heights.” The word “Satan” in Hebrew is a direct translation, therefore “Satan.”

So when Jesus told His disciples in Luke 10:18 that He beheld Satan fall like lightning from heaven, if this were to be spoken by a Jewish Rabbi today influenced by the poetry in the book of Isaiah, he would say these words in Hebrew–the words of Jesus in Luke 10:18 as, and I saw Satan as Baraq O Bam-Maw.

The names of both of Obama’s daughters are Malia and Natasha. If we were to write those names backward (the devil does things backwards) it would be “ailam ahsatan”. Now if we remove the letters that spell “Alah” (the false god of Islam being Allah), we would get “I am Satan”. Mere chance? I do not believe so!

Obama’s campaign logo when he ran as President of the United States in the year 2008 was a sun over the horizon in the west, with the landscape as the flag of the United States. In the Isalmic religion, they have their own messiah that they are awaiting called the 12th Imam, or the Mahdi (the Antichrist of the Bible), and one prophecy concerning this man’s appearance is the sun rising in the west.

“Then I saw another angel flying in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach to those who dwell on the earth—to every nation, tribe, tongue, and people— saying with a loud voice, ‘Fear God and give glory to Him, for the hour of His judgment has come; and worship Him who made heaven and earth, the sea and springs of water.’” (Revelation 14:6-7)

Why have the words of Jesus in His Gospel accounts regarding His death, burial, and resurrection, been translated into over 3,000 languages, and nothing comes close (the Quran about 110 languages)? Because the same Spirit of God (YHVH) who created all people likewise transcends all people; therefore the power of His Word is not limited by people; while all other religions are man-made, therefore they tend to primarily stay within their own culture. The same God who speaks to all people through His creation of the heavens and earth that draws all people around the world likewise has sent His Word to the ends of the earth so that we may come to personally know Him to be saved in spirit and in truth through His Son Jesus Christ.

Jesus stands alone among the other religions that say to rightly weigh the scales of good and evil and to make sure you have done more good than bad in this life. Is this how we conduct ourselves justly in a court of law? Bearing the image of God, is this how we project this image into reality?

Our good works cannot save us. If we step before a judge, being guilty of a crime, the judge will not judge us by the good we have done, but rather by the crimes we have committed. If we as fallen humanity, created in God’s image, pose this type of justice, how much more a perfect, righteous, and Holy God?

God has brought down His moral laws through the 10 commandments given to Moses at Mt. Siani. These laws were not given so we may be justified, but rather that we may see the need for a savior. They are the mirror of God’s character of what He has written in our hearts, with our conscious bearing witness that we know that it is wrong to steal, lie, dishonor our parents, murder, and so forth.

We can try and follow the moral laws of the 10 commandments, but we will never catch up to them to be justified before a Holy God. That same word of the law given to Moses became flesh about 2,000 years ago in the body of Jesus Christ. He came to be our justification by fulfilling the law, living a sinless perfect life that only God could fulfill.

The gap between us and the law can never be reconciled by our own merit, but the arm of Jesus is stretched out by the grace and mercy of God. And if we are to grab on, through faith in Him, He will pull us up being the one to justify us. As in the court of law, if someone steps in and pays our fine, even though we are guilty, the judge can do what is legal and just and let us go free. That is what Jesus did almost 2,000 years ago on the cross. It was a legal transaction being fulfilled in the spiritual realm by the shedding of His blood with His last word’s on the cross crying out, “It is finished!” (John 19:30).

For God takes no pleasure in the death of the wicked (Ezekiel 18:23). This is why in Isaiah chapter 53, where it speaks of the coming Messiah and His soul being a sacrifice for our sins, why it says it pleased God to crush His only begotten Son.

This is because the wrath that we deserve was justified by being poured out upon His Son. If that wrath was poured out on us, we would all perish to hell forever. God created a way of escape by pouring it out on His Son whose soul could not be left in Hades but was raised and seated at the right hand of God in power.

So now when we put on the Lord Jesus Christ (Romans 13:14), where God no longer sees the person who deserves His wrath, but rather the glorious image of His perfect Son dwelling in us, justifying us as if we received the wrath we deserve, making a way of escape from the curse of death; now being conformed into the image of the heavenly man walking in a new nature, and no longer in the image of the fallen man Adam.

Now what we must do is repent and put our trust and faith in the savior, confessing and forsaking our sins, and to receive His Holy Spirit that we may be born again (for Jesus says we must be born again to see and enter the Kingdom of God in John chapter 3). This is not just head knowledge of believing in Jesus, but rather receiving His words, taking them to heart, so that we may truly be transformed into the image of God. Where we no longer live to practice sin, but rather turn from our sins and practice righteousness through faith in Him in obedience to His Word by reading the Bible.

Our works cannot save us, but they can condemn us; it is not that we earn our way into everlasting life, but that we obey our Lord Jesus Christ:

Jesus says,
