In the past I have not always given credit to the software and tools that I use to make content. In business development we learn early-on the importance of Mind Mapping. Today I decided to promote Xmind and thank them for a superb tool.
Xmind was not the first mind mapping tool I used, as a matter of fact Microsoft Office introduced me the concept of defining concepts and workflow ideas by using graphics and flowcharts. Seriously though, there really isn’t a solid competitor to Xmind, well maybe one or two but there just not as complete.
The single purpose focus of Xmind, since 2006 makes them far and away superior to competitors. Yes, I have tried the contenders and was attracted by “free” at first, however you get what you pay for.
Open Source development helped XMind excel, then consider all the free templates that other users have provided for your needs. In some cases the existing Mind Map templates almost perfectly define the project you may be planning to map out. There are hundreds of Mind Map templates to choose from.
Once you master XMind, whenever you need to make an overview of a plan or project, you will immediately know what to do and how to do it. Master this skill and you will be forever glad, as it will sometimes make you look like a genius.
XMind, a full-featured mind mapping and brainstorming tool, designed to generate ideas, inspire creativity, brings efficiency both in work and life. Millions and millions of people love it.
