Aweber and FormStack vs MailChimp and NinjaForms

Aweber and FormStack help keep our connection

Not so long ago it was good enough to use the “Contact form” built into WordPress since the beginning but a few instant problems arise mostly due to mailserver being separate from Apache or Linux web server software.

Sending any amount of bulk email is always going to have bounce backs, there’s a rule-of-thumb in web development to keep these server functions separate.

Using a 3rd party to manage and send bulk email is just good practice, once a list grows beyond a few hundred subscribers, it’s way better to rent the service from one of many service providers. My two top favourites are Aweber and MailChimp, each of them can connect with 3rd party form services. We are testing FormStack and NinjaForms.

Another WordPress Ap called Newsletter is very impressive for being able to prefrom everything that can be done with the above tools, just a much more bare-bones platform, so you would need design skills.

Aweber and MailChimp both have vast resources of tutorials, templates, and self-help videos, plus fabulous support and all sorts of webinars and secondary coaching and consulting. It’s truly amazing how big this market sector has become and it’s reflected in the quality of the products.

So far I’m preferring FormStack just slightly because it can connect to WebMerge, which is really cool tech that enables multiple groups to work on a the same document. In other words pass information to be completed by another authorized user, for example a bank or grocery store.

The sophistication involved Aweber and MailChimp is already amazing but when you add FormStack with Webmerge, or NinjaForms with their partners for the same systems, what you have is the capabilities of a giant institution, or tech giant, in your hands, for under $100 per month.

    Content Chemistry

Today I attended a webinar hosted by Aweber to feature Andy Crestodina, Co-Founder, Chief Marketing Officer – Orbit Media and author of an incredible resource called Content Chemistry: The Illustrated Handbook for Content Marketing

Content Chemistry is the result of conversations with thousands of companies since 2001. These are the most important and effective marketing lessons we’ve learned.

Needless to say I’ve been doing everything wrong here on this blog, if my attention were to win traffic and attempt to convince anyone of my method of blogging, as it’s been used as a creative outlet to improve my writing, also I thought that the stories would harm my online profile.

Silicon Palms has always been more like a holding company, for developing and managing cyber estates (websites) and domains and brands. Invest Offshore has been the primary focus until recently.

Now that I have been educated about modern content marketing methods, I’m likely to make changes here one again and also improve all my content creation and continue learning Content Chemistry.

  • Earthships, Organite and Pyramid Power

    Earthships, Organite and Pyramid Power

    Pyramid Valley, Bangalore

I recon if I live long enough that Earthships, Organite and Pyramid Power will become so common as to be blasé, as the millennial’s have now picked up on organite and many more people are learning about earthships. Eventually everyone will know about these wonderful products.

In my mind I’d be ecstatic if Michael Reynolds, the inventor of Earthship Biotecture from New Mexico were to find a practical way to incorporate both organite and pyramid energy into his designs, most likely he has at one project over so many builds (as they call them), however I’ve yet to see one.

As for Organite, it’s largely due to rising awareness of damaging EMF waves caused by wifi in our world of IoT, so on Amazon for example there are dozens if not hundreds of Organite vendors selling a vast array of designs, styles, shapes and sizes but by far the most common is the pyramid. Although, keep in mind that organite was originally generated in a cabinet that resembled a thick wooden cabinet, so the pyramid shape was adopted.

It’s the combination of the pyramid and the elements inside the resin that cause the most effect and I’m not one to be able to notice it but they can be tested by using an EMF sensor and a cell phone, measuring with and without the organite. So there you have it, we can’t prove that organite actually omits anything but we can provide that it reduces EMF (electro magnetic frequency).

The key purpose of a good organite pyramid is to use near your head when you are sleeping, so that you can give your brain a better rest from the constant bombardment of the hidden waves we call wifi. Then the the pyramid is mentioned here to, as it’s similar in that it’s hard to prove that the correctly tuned structure does anything measurable but there’s dozens of test you can do, for example cut fruit in half and put half in and half out but once again all you can prove is what doesn’t happen.

Earthships are the most exciting invention to me, since the wheel. To get people living in shelters that produce food and generate their own electricity is such a breakthrough towards creating peaceful, happy existence on planet earth and get off the grid and back to nature.

I found a new Earthship video today, from Collingwood, Ontario and I want to share this and keep spreading the good news.

  • Orchids and Orgonite Pyramids

    Orchids and Orgonite Pyramids

    [Kepulauan Mentawai, Indonesia] Phalaenopsis mentawaiensis ‘#2' O.Gruss, Orchidee (Hamburg) 65: 238 (2014)
SUBGENUS Polychilos SECTION Amboinenses Sweet 1968 Lifeform: Epiphyte Distribution: Sumatera (Kep. Mentawai) (42 SUM)

My lucky day today, as I acquired a spectacular two stem Phalaenopsis Orchid, from my favourite plant store in the West End of Vancouver. Windsor Market it’s called, operated by really nice people originally from Japan. Windsor Market has been on Robson Street for as long as I can remember, expert in cut flowers, orchids, as well as house plants, plus an entire section with a large orchid selection but no Orgonite Pyramids (yet).

What I love about the orchid; is everything

    Phalaenopsis venosa
    Phalaenopsis venosa

In my studio I have a grandfather clock that my grandfather Lloyd made while at the University of Toronto in the nineteen twenties, that’s where he met Lola, my outrageously cool Grandma (both deceased). Hanging beside the clock is a pastel artwork that Lola created, depicting Green Bay in West Kelowna, where I grew up. A view from the house on the lake that my family owned for 35 years. I treasure both works of art equally (lol).

Under the picture and beside the grandfather clock is an antique wooden card table, with four collapsible wooden legs and a green felt top for cards. That little table had belonged to my Mom’s grandmother, whom we called Granny Batt, she carried it over from Ireland as she was an avid card player and champion Bridge player. On top of the table sits my fabulous orchid.

The orchid reminds us that everything is a cycle of living and dying. The elegant wise woman named Pong, selected my orchid for me, said that the two stems would produce blooms for about five months. The price is pennies per day to host an exotic living and breathing plant in closest personal proximity, as they inspire us to make the most of our life cycle.

I often smile thinking that those dearly departed souls had touched those things one hundred years ago and that they were fond of what I am fond of. So much so that I am using the grandfather clock for an orgonite collection and currently have a bright fire-engine red Chinese lantern hanging inside the clock case, it resembles the heart and shows also my respect for China. After all, it was China who helped build British Columbia and the railway to Toronto.

Orgonite is something you may not have heard of but you will. My youngest sister and I became fascinated by orgonite pyramids a few years ago and bought some, talked to allot of people, read everything we could get our hands on and did everything short of making our own Orgonite pyramids, which we are still considering. The fact of the matter is that Orgone energy exists everywhere and it is entirely possible to tap into, we just don’t know how yet.

Alanis Morissette does a great interview with an expert named Michelle Hood, you’ll find her link below. Best place to see Orgonite pyramids is Pinterest Boards and the secret how it’s made.

The Power of Orgone Pyramids: An Interview with Michelle Hood

    Organite Pyramids

Evaluation of Orgone Energy from Wikipedia

Orgone was closely associated with sexuality: Wilhelm Reich (the person who named it orgone), following Freud, saw nascent sexuality as the primary energetic force of life. The term itself was chosen to share a root with the word orgasm, which both Reich and Freud took to be a fundamental expression of psychological health. This focus on sexuality, while acceptable in the clinical perspective of Viennese psychoanalytic circles, scandalized the conservative American public even as it appealed to countercultural figures like William S. Burroughs and Jack Kerouac.

In at least some cases, Reich’s experimental techniques do not appear to have been very careful, or to have taken precautions to remove experimental bias. Reich was concerned with experimental verification from other scientists. Albert Einstein agreed to participate, but thought Reich’s research lacked scientific detachment and experimental rigor; and concluded that the effect was simply due to the temperature gradient inside the room. “Through these experiments I regard the matter as completely solved,” he wrote to Reich on 7 February 1941. Upon further correspondence from Reich, Einstein replied that he could not devote any further time to the matter and asked that his name not be misused for advertising purposes.

  • Apple Cider Vinegar, Peyote and Carlos Castaneda

Apple Cider Vinegar, Peyote and Carlos Castaneda

Astrophytum asterias (Zucc.) Lem. 1150 also known as peyote
    Astrophytum asterias (Zucc.) Lem. 1150

Just had my evening shot of Bragg’s Apple Cider Vinegar and remembered the time I ate peyote buttons, in the very north of British Columbia, in the middle of winter. (Bragg is not a sponsor).

The fur on the buttons you see, on the outside of the Astrophytum asterias cactus (above) are poisonous (arsenic) and have to be carefully cut off with a razor blade. The taste of those little buttons is ten times more wretched than vinegar to the body, the second you bite in it’s almost too much. Really interesting effect from the plant though, extremely introspective, without time (as we know it) very deep understanding of things in a new way. Probably a good idea to have a guide but make sure you have lot’s of time on your hands and forget about food, you’ll not be able to hold anything down, even if it looks good.

The thing that I remember most was that it was 40 below and my first Christmas away from home, I was 18 years old and living alone, it was holiday season so every one was festive in the town of Fort Nelson and from outside the houses I could see the waves of energy and heat pulsing off the frozen exteriors, like I had special vision. Also the sound of my own boots crunching on frozen snow was almost an endless source of fascination, to the point where one single step was filled with intense new interpretation of the sounds. Walking and walking and observing every detail with awe. I can still remember the experience, it was deep.

Organic, Raw, Unfiltered, with the 'Mother' (Naturally Gluten Free - Certified Non-GMO)
Organic, Raw, Unfiltered, with the ‘Mother’ (Naturally Gluten Free – Certified Non-GMO)

People have asked me if Apple Cider Vinegar has helped me, or what benefits have I noticed since I started. Truth is that I don’t know for sure but I do believe I discover a breakthrough technique. The idea came to me from watching Wim Hof (the Iceman) describe how the mind as ability to control systems of the body, we just didn’t know we could.

    The Teachings of Don Juan
    The Teachings of Don Juan

Apple Cider Vinegar is revolting to drink, the only thing I know worse is peyote buttons, which are a natural source of mescaline, they taste so bad that some people wretch and others just can’t put them in their mouth. It was a long time ago but I remember it well because I was living inside the arctic circle at the time. My peyote adventures were inspired by Carlos Castaneda and his incredible; “Teachings of Don Juan.”

I learned long ago, from experience that clarity, sobriety and fitness is way more fun and the clean mind too important, to risk by playing with recreational drugs. I’ve lived substance free for many years, however I do plan to experience Ayahuasca some day in the future (in Brazil). Fortunately for me, altered states hold no interest any more. Plus, to be clear I never did trust anything synthetic, so Apple Cider Vinegar becomes my substance of choice now. My technique is a “Power of Intention” excercise and practice of wisdom right from Don Juan. I use the shock of the taste, hold it under my tongue while engaging my mind to re-set my body.

By breathing in the correct sequence, while you hold the apple cider vinegar under your tongue, you can force the shock of the revulsion into your body as a blast of energy from God. Imagine that some ignorant sick people put vinegar in the mouth of Jesus, when he was told it was water. Think how you are going to survive and thrive! Play sequence of thoughts in your mind and become fully aware of your immune system. In those seconds your mind has sent big wave of love through your body. You just joy jolted your entire system, now swallow!

As with so many things, it’s the simple repetitive discipline of doing it day after day. The key difference is the Power of Intention and the amount of focus you’re able to conjure with your mind. Frankly, many people just don’t have the time nor the inclination but I want influence over my own body, so for a daily ritual I borrow from the Yaqui Way of Knowledge suggested by The Practical Wisdom of the Shamans of Ancient Mexico.

    Ayahuasca

Ayahuasca, iowaska, or yagé, is an entheogenic brew made out of Banisteriopsis caapi vine and other ingredients. The brew is used as a traditional spiritual medicine in ceremonies among the indigenous peoples of the Amazon basin. It has been reported that some psychoactive effects can be felt from consuming the ayahuasca vine alone.

  • Minds Bill of Rights

    Minds Bill of Rights

    Minds Bill of Rights

Minds Bill of Rights Protects Ideas

Minds is officially adopting the Manila Principles On Intermediary Liability, a digital bill of rights, outlined by the Electronic Frontier Foundation and other leading digital rights organizations. The principles have been endorsed by nearly 300 leading press freedom and technology policy organizations and individuals. They act as a guideline for protecting freedom of expression and create an open environment for innovation. It is our hope to create a network effect of companies and organizations adopting the principles to further Internet freedom globally.

Introduction to Minds.com Bill of Rights

All communication over the Internet is facilitated by intermediaries such as Internet access providers, social networks, and search engines. The policies governing the legal liability of intermediaries for the content of these communications have an impact on users’ rights, including freedom of expression, freedom of association and the right to privacy.

With the aim of protecting freedom of expression and creating an enabling environment for innovation, which balances the needs of governments and other stakeholders, civil society groups from around the world have come together to propose this framework of baseline safeguards and best practices. These are based on international human rights instruments and other international legal frameworks.

Uninformed intermediary liability policies, blunt and heavy-handed regulatory measures, and a lack of consistency across these policies has resulted in censorship and other human rights abuses by governments and private parties, limiting individuals’ rights to free expression and creating an environment of uncertainty that also impedes innovation online.

The framework presented here should be considered by policymakers and intermediaries when developing, adopting, and reviewing legislation, policies and practices that govern the liability of intermediaries for third-party content. Our objective is to encourage the development of interoperable and harmonized liability regimes that can promote innovation while respecting users’ rights in line with the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights and the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights.

The Manila Principles On Intermediary Liability

    1. Intermediaries should be shielded from liability for third-party content.

    2. Content must NOT be required to be removed without an order by a judicial authority.

    3. Requests for restrictions of content must be clear, be unambiguous, and follow due process.

    4. Laws and content restriction orders and practices must comply with the tests of necessity and proportionality.

    5. Laws and content restriction policies and practices must respect due process.

    6. Transparency and accountability must be built into laws and content restriction policies and practices.

Please visit manilaprinciples.org for more information on each principle.

    Minds profile from Wikipedia

Minds is an open source social media and social networking service company that rewards users for their contributions. Founded by Bill Ottman and Mark Harding in 2011, it is a distributed social networking service that rewards contributors with tokens on the Ethereum blockchain.

Minds describes itself as a “Crypto Social Network” that upholds “internet freedom”.

    History

Minds was co-founded in 2011 by Bill Ottman and Mark Harding as an alternative to social networks such as Facebook, who they believe abuse digital rights. Other cofounders were John Ottman, Ian Crossland, and Jack Ottman.

Minds launched to the public in June 2015.

In June 2017, the company raised over $1 million in an equity-crowdfunded sale.

In October 2018, Minds raised $6 million in Series A funding from Medici Ventures, an Overstock.com subsidiary. Patrick M. Byrne, founder and CEO of Overstock.com, will join Minds’ board of directors.

    Features

Users can use tokens to advertise their content across the social network. Minds states that the boost system is designed to be “anti-surveillance” and has “organic reach”. The price of one-thousand views is the price of one token on the network.

Minds offers a premium subscription for 5 tokens per month that gives users access to exclusive content, the ability to become verified, and to “banish all the boosted posts” from their feed.

    Reception

Minds has been featured by Business Insider and VentureBeat, claiming to provide more “organic” results than Facebook.

When the network launched its Alpha mobile applications in 2015, the group Anonymous showed initial support for privacy features.[16][17] Engadget has since expressed concern that other fringe groups could undermine the platform’s ability to deliver accurate and curated content.

Observer, Barron’s, and Breitbart discussed the network’s dedication to free speech and community-participation.

On June 5, 2018, ZDNet published an article about Minds focusing on their blockchain integration.

    Self-Sovereign Identity

    Self-Sovereign Identity
    Splashart crown

    What Is Self-Sovereign Identity?

Data is one of the most valuable assets in a digital world. Self-Sovereign identity puts you back in control of your personal data for more privacy and protection.

    Download the SelfKey Wallet

Do you have control over your digital identity?

When you register for a new online account, you are being forced to hand over personal data. It’s only a matter of time before those accounts become compromised and malicious actors gain access to your personal information. By using blockchain technology, Self-Sovereign Identity puts you back in control of your personal data.

Your online identity will become critically important to you as AI begins to flex it’s muscle. Data cloning is happening and the Internet has become high-risk for phishing and data theft for decades, now ID fraud is beyond epidemic and the blockchain has arrived just in time.

    Regain ownership

Your data is yours. Currently, it belongs to any service provider you register for when creating new online accounts.

    Stop oversharing

The internet is forever, and so is your personal data once it’s online. Keep your personal information safe and choose when to share it.

    Why is Self-Sovereign Identity Important?

To use any application, visit a website, or access a device in the digital world – your first step is authentication. Who are you? Are you really who you claim to be? This is the foundation of all interactions with technology, and it’s deeply flawed when you don’t control who you are in a digital world.

Your data is getting more concentrated in the hands of a few large institutions. They are storing information about your browsing history, shopping habits, location data, bank statements, medical history, and much more. With the rising threat of data breaches, security threats, and loss of privacy – your information is increasingly at risk because you do not own your identity. As your life becomes increasingly digital, the data you create forms a clear construct of who you are. Instead of storing the data on centralized servers that could be at risk for hacks or misuse, we believe there is a better way. You, the identity owner – should own and control your own information.

Using blockchain technology, the SelfKey Wallet provides an identity platform where you can manage all of your personal information. You’ll be able to choose what information you want to share, who gets access to it, and for how long. This will revolutionize how you interact with the online world, while protecting your information and privacy. Welcome to the future of identity: where you are in complete control. Where you are self-sovereign.

One of the most profound things you can seek, is your own holiness, activated by Nicolas Kimaz

Nicolas Kimaz has 25 years of expertise and a unique approach that will activate your 4 Wisdoms to be transformed through a special process to give your Life a Spiritual Meaning that will influence your leadership and relationships to Scale to a Higher Being to become a river of Gifts, a river of Love, a river of Giving and a river of Healing.

    Dr. Nicolas Kimaz, N.D.

Nicolas Kimaz is the founder and director of 4 WISDOMS Academy. He can well be referred to as a true walking miracle. It is of little surprise that his passion and mission in life is to bring healing to the planet through Christ-centered Wisdom, one person at a time.

Nicolas is a world traveller who has enjoyed success as a world renown Executive Leadership Strategist, naturopathic doctor, healer, mentor, teacher, entrepreneur, consultant, author, broadcaster, speaker and businessman.

From my perspective, having studied “The Course in Miracles” I find 4 Wisdoms to be aligned with same ideals of seeking peace, prosperity and enlightenment, by living by the same principles and primarily; treating other people, as you would wish to be treated. It’s an honour and a thrill to be involved in helping Dr. Nic in his expression of the 4 Wisdoms.

    A Course in Miracles

“This is A Course in Miracles. It is a required course. Only the time you take it is voluntary. Free will does not mean that you can establish the curriculum. It means only that you can elect what you want to take at a given time. The course does not aim at teaching the meaning of love, for that is beyond what can be taught. It does aim, however, at removing the blocks to the awareness of love’s presence, which is your natural inheritance. The opposite of love is fear, but what is all-encompassing can have no opposite. This Course can therefore be summed up very simply in this way:

         Nothing real can be threatened.
         Nothing unreal exists.

Herein lies the peace of God.” ( T-In.2:1-4 )

  • Caribbean Blue Scorpion Venom

    Caribbean Blue Scorpion Venom

Rhopalurus junceus also known as the Caribbean Blue Scorpion
Rhopalurus junceus also known as the Caribbean Blue Scorpion

Caribbean Blue Scorpion Venom as a medicine is one of the coolest things I’ve learned about lately and makes perfect sense to me. Beneficiaries of this amazing nutraceutical are survivors of chemo therapy. This modern marvel of naturaopathic science is called Escozine.

Escoazul or escozul (from escorpión azul – in Spanish: blue scorpion – the name by which it’s known in Cuba) refers to a mixture used in Cuban traditional medicine as an anti-inflammatory. The composition may vary, but always contains a diluted dose of Rhopalurus junceus venom.

The Rhopalurus junceus poison, coloured blue, contains a toxin whose composition and structure is still unknown. The escozul gained fame when in Latin America and Europe was spread, through internet, the voice of a possible antineoplastic effect. After that, the Cuban Government started some studies, all in preliminary stages, in order to discover its real effects

The founder of Escozine, Dr. Arthur Grant Mikaelian, started his independent investigation in 2004 related to the Caribbean Blue Scorpion. Scientific data, which was available at the time, made him believe that the scorpion venom had potential therapeutic values. He was sure it could be a valuable organic compound when combined with his polarization technology.

In 2007, Dr. Mikaelian and the Ministry of Environment and Bio Diversity of the Dominican Republic started discussing a joint investigation of several scorpion species endemic to the Dominican Republic. In 2008, both parties came to final conclusion and Dr. Arthur Grant Mikaelian signed an agreement with the Minister of Environment, Dr. Jaime David Fernandez Mirabal, and started a joint investigation.

In 2010, Escozine received its first Registration for its product, Escozine, in the Dominican Republic. Escozine received a full Patent in 2012. This exclusive patent license, (United States patent # 8,097,284 B2) is being used to make a new generation of nutraceuticals and drugs utilizing the polarization technology for higher potency bioactive peptides. Escozine™ is registered and certified for oncological treatment by the Minister of Health in the Dominican Republic. Escozine™ is currently sold through direct online marketing to over 40 countries and is currently registered in six countries (Dominican Republic, Vietnam, Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Nigeria, and Armenia) as well as being sold in the United States as a nutraceutical.

The Cuban product Vidatox (formerly known as Escozul) is not produced or sold by Escozine and Escozine does not rely on this product in any way. Escozine has its own independent source of Blue Scorpion venom in the Dominican Republic and has established the world’s first Scorpion Reservation which is 50,000 square meters and can produce millions of doses to meet global demand. Products are currently sold through direct online marketing to over 40 countries.
