Girl in a Wetsuit is a life-size 1972 bronze sculpture by Elek Imredy of a woman in a wetsuit, located on a rock in the water along the north side of Stanley Park, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
Every day, rain or shine, I stop my bicycle on the 10 km ride around the Seawall of Stanley Park and take a photo on my phone of Girl in a Wetsuit. My birthplace is over her shoulder and in all 1700+ snaps. Here is a small sample.
Girl in a Wetsuit Description
The bronze sculpture depicts a friend of Imredy’s, Debra Harrington, in a wetsuit with flippers on her feet and a mask on her forehead.
Controversy
Although some believe it was a replica of Copenhagen’s The Little Mermaid, the creator stated:
I didn’t believe we should have a copy of the mermaid. She is rightfully a symbol of Copenhagen… I proposed to have a life-size scuba diver seated there. At that time scuba diving was getting quite popular here in Vancouver and, just as important, I didn’t know of any similar sculpture anywhere in the world. It was a new idea… There was tremendous opposition and great controversy. I still don’t know why.
Hummus and Pita bread was my first introduction to the humble chickpea. As a young man I travelled to Whistler for spring skiing and the favourite new discovery was Greek food and especially Hummus and Pita bread. When I think about it, this was my first foreign food aside from fake Chinese. Even sushi was just getting started in those days but American, Italian and Greek were the primary choices.

Years later I learned how to make Hummus and have decided that it’s such an important dish that I needed to write about it and the humble chickpea.
My food preparedness includes lots of Chickpeas, both canned in water and dry.
Garbanzo bean sounds more glamorous but it’s the same family as Chick pea. Its different types are variously known as gram or Bengal gram, garbanzo or garbanzo bean, or Egyptian pea. Chickpea seeds are high in protein. It is one of the earliest cultivated legumes, and 9500-year-old remains have been found in the Middle East.

Why all the fuss about the Chickpea?

Chickpeas are usually rapidly boiled for 10 minutes and then simmered for a longer period. Dried chickpeas need a long cooking time (1–2 hours) but will easily fall apart when cooked longer. If soaked for 12–24 hours before use, cooking time can be shortened by around 30 minutes. Chickpeas can also be pressure cooked or sous vide cooked at 90 °C (194 °F).
Mature chickpeas can be cooked and eaten cold in salads, cooked in stews, ground into flour, ground and shaped in balls and fried as falafel, made into a batter and baked to make farinata or cecina, or fried to make panelle. Chickpea flour is known as gram flour or besan in South Asia and used frequently in South Asian cuisine.
In Portugal, chickpeas are one of the main ingredients in rancho, eaten with pasta and meat or with rice. They are used in other hot dishes with bacalhau and in soups, meat stews, and salads mixed with tuna and vegetables, olive oil, vinegar, hot pepper and salt. In Spain, they are used cold in tapas and salads, as well as in cocido madrileño.
Hummus is the Arabic word for chickpeas, which are often cooked and ground into a paste and mixed with tahini (sesame seed paste), the blend called ḥummuṣ bi ṭaḥīna. Chickpeas are roasted, spiced, and eaten as a snack, such as leblebi. By the end of the 20th century, hummus had become commonplace in American cuisine. By 2010, 5% of Americans consumed hummus on a regular basis, and it was present at some point in 17% of American households.
Chickpeas and Bengal grams are used to make curries and are one of the most popular vegetarian foods in the Indian subcontinent and in diaspora communities of many other countries served with variety of breads or steamed rice. Popular dishes in Indian cuisine are made with chickpea flour, such as mirchi bajji and mirapakaya bajji.
In India, as well as in the Levant, unripe chickpeas are often picked out of the pod and eaten as a raw snack and the leaves are eaten as a leaf vegetable in salads. In India, desserts such as besan halwa and sweets such as mysore pak, besan barfi and laddu are made.
Chickpea flour is used to make “Burmese tofu” which was first known among the Shan people of Burma. In South Asian cuisine the chickpea flour (besan) is used as a batter to coat vegetables before deep frying to make pakoras. The flour is also used as a batter to coat vegetables and meats before frying, or fried alone such as panelle (little bread), a chickpea fritter from Sicily.
Chickpea flour is used to make the Mediterranean flatbread socca and called panisse in Provence, southern France. It is made of cooked chickpea flour, poured into saucers, allowed to set, cut in strips, and fried in olive oil, often eaten during Lent. In Tuscany chickpea flour (farina di ceci) is used to make an oven baked pancake: the flour is mixed with water, oil and salt.
Chickpea flour known as kadlehittu in Kannada is used for making sweet dish Mysorepak.
In the Philippines, chickpeas preserved in syrup are eaten as sweets and in desserts such as halo-halo.
Ashkenazi Jews traditionally serve whole chickpeas, referred to as arbes (אַרבעס) in Yiddish, at the Shalom Zachar celebration for baby boys. The chickpeas are boiled until soft, and served hot with salt and lots of ground black pepper.
Guasanas or garbanza is a Mexican chickpea street snack. The beans, while still green, are cooked in water and salt, kept in a steamer to maintain their humidity, and served in a plastic bag.
A chickpea-derived liquid (aquafaba) can be used as an egg white replacement to make meringue or ice cream, with the residual pomace used as flour.
We are all involved in the pursuit of happiness, whether we like it or not. From our first step to our last breath, we are in the process of manifesting happiness, or in the pursuit of it.
The Pursuit of Happiness is an essential human right. Both Confucius and Socrates insisted that well-being and personal growth were a major purpose of life, and a central goal of education. Thomas Jefferson and the founders of U.S. government recognized this.
“Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness“ is a well-known phrase in the United States Declaration of Independence. The phrase gives three examples of the unalienable rights which the Declaration says have been given to all humans by their Creator, and which governments are created to protect.
More than two hundred years later, our schools and universities are still neglecting these goals. We are so busy pursuing intellectual skills that we have neglected the pursuit of happiness. We have forgotten Aristotle’s warning: Educating the mind without educating the heart is no education at all.
The happiness of your life depends upon the quality of your thoughts: therefore, guard accordingly, and take care that you entertain no notions unsuitable to virtue and reasonable nature.
Marcus Aurelius
Wisdom is all we need to Find Happiness
Wisdom is the key, so where do we get it?
Doing the right thing making the right decisions and choices are all very commendable but timing is of critical importance a right decision at the wrong time can even be useless. However, knowing when to do the right thing makes the outcome impact-full.
Without the wisdom of right timing great efforts will end up being a colossal waste of human and material resources
Wisdom is applicable to all areas of life therefore as the lord has shown us wisdom is indeed the principle thing therefore it is the core of making and achieving anything meaningful so in all that we do we must seek this priority called wisdom
Prayer for Wisdom
My all-wise God and father, the one that by wisdom has created the world and it has continued from age to age, what a privilege to be your child and to be created after your own image.
Thank you also for the open offer to come to you to ask for wisdom when I lack it, what an awesome privilege.
Thank you for all you are and all you do to endow me with wisdom, not wanting me to waste my life and opportunities to foolish decisions.
I am grateful lord receive my thanks and praise.
Please grant me the grace to use the wisdom you have put in me, to add value to my world and to honor you.

We are in the time of this occurring but not in the context that many people understand. The church who I call the Great Liar true ambition is to control the human psyche through fear while completely manipulating its true meaning. The “Christ” is not a single human being as humanity has been told through organized religious interpretation. Meaning, Christ or a man named Jesus is one person and upon his return humanity will be saved.
But, in actuality Christ consciousness is an intelligence field and is a layer in our spiritual evolutionary development. This layer of spiritual development is something humanity has never experienced before in this density.
We have never experienced this frequency of light in this 3D existence. This dark arconic element that has been controlling this reality for thousands of years and has been doing everything in their power to keep this frequency from penetrating this planet. This is how they’ve been continuing their particular agenda, this particular timeline.
This current negative alien agenda is brilliant at creating realities but creating dead realities. But, these realities need to be powered by some sort of source light meaning soul bodies, the human being has been used to power this dead end timeline. They have created a parasitic relationship here on planet Earth. Christ light is not vampiric, it is not parasitic.
What has happened on planet Earth is we have been in a finite energetic supply where we live within incredible restriction and limitations. This Christ light/consciousness is infinite and eternal. In the past this dark arconic element has been able to manipulate the dense energies in this lower reality but this higher frequency, this Christ light is not able to be manipulated in other words it cannot be hacked.
Christ consciousness is going to end that parasitic relationship that humanity has unknowingly been participating in. Meaning, this vampiric relationship is coming to an end. The unconscious human beings, who I call the resistors, are unknowingly propagating this vampiric relationship by not understanding what they’re feeding.
While humanity embodies this higher frequency of Christ consciousness we become more inner sustained. We don’t feel the need to manipulate or serve the outer world anymore and this is exactly what the negative alien agenda wants. This is called energy harvesting and the unconscious aka the resistors are oblivious to it and unknowingly feeding this parasitic virus. But, to their defense they truly don’t realize it exists.
What it comes down to is if you don’t know how to connect to that higher energetic source somebody else will and that’s exactly what has happened on planet Earth and that is exactly why this information has been suppressed. When the human being starts to realize that we are multidimensional and we have spiritual bodies that we can access, this dark element and it’s reign is over.
This dark element has interfered and violated the human life form. They have taken the human beings right to connect to its source and this cannot continue. This is why we are getting an incredible amount of help from the higher realms. Yes, we have free will but it is null and void due to the incredible interference and manipulation humans have endured on many levels and it’s time the manipulation expired.
Continue to stay in your heart, sovereign and stay the observer. Your energy is yours so watch who and what you are giving it to. Emotions / reactions vs respond / highest choice for you!
Late last night, as I was shutting down my computer a link title caught my eye; Child Prodigy Paints Visions from God, the decision to click that link and watch the story of Akiane Kramarik painting the Prince of Peace has shocked me with the best inspiration of a lifetime.
Akiane Kramarik was divinely guided to paint the face of Jesus, first she had to learn how to paint. God promised that he would teach her. A few years later, in 40 hours she painted the masterpiece “Prince of Peace” at the age of 8, having had the visions from age 4.
And right then with my faulty brush full of my own hair I wanted to paint
I wanted to paint the wings- Too late – they flew away I wanted to paint a flower Too late – it withered
That night the rain was running after me Each drop of rain showed God’s face His face was everywhere On homes and on me
I wrung out the love to make the red
I wrung out the stumps to make the brown
I wrung out the trust to make the pink
I wrung out my own eyes to make the blue
I wrung out the seaweed to make the green
I wrung out the nightly pain to make the black
I wrung out my grandmother’s hair to make the gray
I wrung out my visions to make the violet
I wrung out the truth to make the white
Today I want to paint God’s face IT’S NOT TOO LATE !
Isaiah 9:6 KJV
For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
The weapon of choice for the forces of Light is the Truth. For the forces of Darkness it is lies. Truth always wins because the support structures necessary for maintaining a lie always collapse, and the Truth is its own support.
As Darkness Falls Every Lie Will Be Revealed The End won’t be for Everyone. That Choice, Will be Yours. Consider This the Tip … Only the Beginning:

In the 1850s the Vincentian priest Pedro Maria Boss suggested placing a Christian monument on Mount Corcovado to honour Isabel, princess regent of Brazil and the daughter of Emperor Pedro II, although the project was never approved. In 1921 the Roman Catholic archdiocese of Rio de Janeiro proposed that a statue of Christ be built on the 2,310-foot (704-metre) summit, which, because of its commanding height, would make it visible from anywhere in Rio. Citizens petitioned Pres. Epitácio Pessoa to allow the construction of the statue on Mount Corcovado.

Steamworks Brew Pub is the venue for Vancouver Economic Summit April 12, 2022 – 5:30 Happy Hour – Open Debate
Vancouver Economic Summit celebrates 10 Years in 2022 and now that Corona mandate restrictions have been removed in British Columbia, we are returning to Steamworks Brew Pub at 375 Water Street, Gastown Vancouver (beside water front train station) for Tuesday April 12 at 5:30.
Join us for Happy Hour at Steamworks to enjoy Appys and Beer, to debate the latest world news and views in an open source, round-table discussion.
Since 2012 a bi-monthly meetup for “appys and beer” has been held in Vancouver, to host friendly debate and exchange ideas. An agenda is available and members are invited to speak their minds and exercise free speech, in a casual atmosphere with polite decorum.
We respectfully allow all participants to share viewpoints, on the topics outlined in the articles and videos selected by the founder from the submission of members. The informal nature of the discourse enables a “speed debate”
HOW TO SPEED DEBATE – “CUT TO THE CHASE”
What is Speed Debating?
A debate is a structured argument. Two sides speak alternately for and against a particular contention usually based on a topical issue. Unlike the arguments you might have with your family or friends however, each person is allocated a time they are allowed to speak for and any interjections are carefully controlled.
Why speed debate?
It is an excellent way of improving speaking skills and is particularly helpful in providing experience in developing a convincing argument. Those of you who are forced to argue against your natural point of view realize that arguments, like coins, always have at least two sides.

And now an uncouth rhyme of what shall be in future time For in those wondrous days far off the woman shall adopt a craze To dress like men and trousers wear, and cut off all their locks of hair, They’ll ride astride with brazen brow, as witches do on broomsticks now Then love shall die and marriage cease, and nations wain as babes decrease, Then wives shall fondle cats and dogs, and men shall live much the same as hogs. A carriage without horse shall go, disaster fill the world with woe. In London Primrose Hill shall be its centre hold the Bishops see. Around the world men’s thoughts will fly quick as the twinkling of an eye. Water shall great wonders do, how strange and yet it shall come true. Then upside down the world shall be, then gold is found at the root of tree. Thru towering hills proud men shall ride, no horse or mule move by his side. Beneath the water men shall walk, shall ride, shall sleep, and even talk. And in the air men shall be seen, in white and black as well as green. A great man then shall come and go, for prophecy declares it so. In water iron then shall float, as easy as a wooden boat. Gold shall be found in stream and stone, in a land as yet unknown. Water and fire shall wonders do, and England shall admit a Jew. The Jew that once was held in scorn shall of Christian heritage be born. A house of glass shall come to pass in England but Alas! Alas! A war will follow with the work, where dwells the pagan and the Turk. The states will lock in fiercest strife, and seek to take each others life. When North shall thus divide the South, the eagle builds in the Lion’s mouth. Then tax and blood and cruel war shall come to every humble door. Before the people shall be free each sprung from a different dynasty. Three times shall lovely sunny France be led to play a bloody dance. Then when the fiercest fight is done England and France shall be as one. The British olive next shall twine in marriage with the German vine. Men walk beneath and over streams, fulfilled will be our strangest dreams. All England’s sons that plow the land shall oft be seen with book in hand. The poor will now great wisdom knows, water wind where corn doth grow. Great houses stand in far-flung dale, all covered over with snow and hail. Nineteen hundred, twenty-six, they’ll build houses light of straw and sticks. Mighty wars shall then be planned as fire and sword shall sweep the land. Pictures alive with movement free, boats like fishes swim the sea. When men like birds shall scour the sky, then half this world deep drenched in blood shall die. But those who live this century thru, in fear and trembling this they’ll do. Flee to the mountains and to the dens, to bog and forest wild fens. For storms will rage as oceans roar, and Gabriel stands on sea and shore. And as he blows his wondrous horn the old world shall die and new be born.
Silence, your love for God flows through your words. I feel your love for Christ and you are the real deal. I believe your knowledge comes from living amongst the belly of the beast for a large part of your career and your ministry is to share what you learned to those who will listen to this wisdom.
Most who are in this digital war stand alone in their life and in their fight right now. As lonely and as hard as this experience over the last few years have been, the blessings far outweigh the pain. I now know that I am not the only one on this planet with a righteous heart whom lives and breaths for truth.
I am not the only one that sees through the lies of the Devil and is willing to fight back, I am not the only one in this world who sees how deeply we have fallen as humans and I am not the only one who will fight until my last breath to save the children.
I will stand until the end of this time of darkness until the praise of Jesus sings from all the mouths of His children.
